Welcome to
my hometown

Tim’s London Tours offers highly-personalized, private sightseeing with an experienced and licensed Blue Badge Guide born in London.

You’ll enjoy privileged access, skipping the long lines at many attractions: Maybe you’d like a sightseeing tour or an exclusive guided visit inside Westminster Abbey or the Tower. Or perhaps a world-class museum and a spot of shopping? Whatever you choose, you’ll see sights other visitors would normally pass by and it will be a unique event that fits your day and yours alone. Here are some tours to whet your appetite.

The Royal Tour

On this classic highlight tour full of photo opportunities we start in the heart of London - Parliament Square and Big Ben. We head through St James’s park to get the best spots for the Changing of the Guard outside Buckingham Palace. Then it’s along to Piccadilly Circus, passing many Royal Warrant stores on the way. After China Town and pedestrianized Covent Garden, we cross Trafalgar Square and Nelson’s column before stepping into the corridor of power down Whitehall past Downing Street. We end outside the coronation church, Westminster Abbey.

Old London Tour

Starting on the steps of Churchill’s Peoples’ Church, St Paul’s Cathedral, we head to the Millennium footbridge (aka the Wobbly Bridge of H. Potter fame) over the Thames for a view of the City of London. Away from the tourists, we’ll follow the ancient Roman Watling Street as we step back in time and discover the tiny cobblestoned byways that Dickens would have known well. This is the heart of Financial London – we’ll contemplate its Post-Brexit future – before ending the tour by the Tower of London, a thousand-year old castle that protects the Crown Jewels.

Opt to end with a guided visit with me through The Tower of London and see the Crown Jewels. The Tower has been a royal palace, a secure fortress and an infamous prison. Kings and Queens demonstrated their power from here, shaping society and influencing our world.
